I do and teach content marketing.
I plan and create content that helps people.
I’ve spent my career building content plans that do two things: help audiences solve their problems, and make them more likely to buy at the same time. I’ve done this on the agency side and the client side, mostly in the world of software and technology – and I’ve built a business using content marketing in the B2C space while I was at it.
I teach people how to do content marketing.
This summer, I’ll be teaching the content marketing unit as part of the Ottawa Digital Marketing Certificate from Soshal and the University of Ottawa. During the course, the students will learn how to do everything from distilling user pain points to building a full content plan to address them – in a trackable way, that earns money at the same time.
Oh, and then they’ll build the content, too. It’s gonna be so much fun.
I work with clients to support and build their content marketing plans.
I’m really stupidly passionate about building content that helps people, and I’ve got experience doing it in both B2B and B2C situations. Specifically, my focus is on helping online business owners and financial companies connect with people who need what they’ve got – and let’s be real, that’s a lot of people.
If you think I might be able to help fill up your content calendar (or build it for ya) we should talk.
